Kyle Wright walks six, allows three runs in loss to Marlins Friday

by Mike Maher | Royals Correspondent | Sat, Aug 15th 7:16am EDT

Braves starter Kyle Wright allowed three earned runs on two hits and six walks while striking out just one batter over three innings in Friday's loss to the Miami Marlins. The loss drops him to 0-3 on the season.

Fantasy Impact:

Wright dropped his third straight decision on Friday and saw his ERA rise to 7.20 on the season. He has now walked 16 batters in 15 innings and has a 12:16 K:BB ratio. Despite those struggles, the Braves are likely to let the young right-hander attempt to work through his issues because they are desperate for rotation help right now. Wright's next start is currently scheduled to come against the Nationals at home.
