Dylan Bundy struggles on Wednesday, gives up six runs in loss to Arizona

by Lucas Spence | Thu, Sep 17th 1:04am EDT

Angels ace Dylan Bundy turned in his worst start of the season on Wednesday night, giving up six runs (five earned) on six hits (all singles) and two walks in only 2.2 innings in a losing effort against the Diamondbacks. He added two strikeouts.

Fantasy Impact:

Much like fantasy aces Jacob deGrom and Jack Flaherty this week, Bundy sure picked an inopportune time to have his worst outing of the year as many fantasy owners are battling in playoff matchups at this juncture. Despite not giving up any extra-base hits, Bundy could not make it out of the third inning tonight and was pulled after only 63 pitches. Bundy’s ERA jumped from 2.48 to 3.12 after tonight’s performance. Bundy should bounce back in a friendly matchup at home vs. the Rangers on Monday.
