John Means has dominant outing Sunday

by Carmen Maiorano | Orioles Correspondent | Mon, Sep 21st 8:17am EDT

John Means was a dominant force against the Rays on Sunday, striking out twelve hitters over 5 and 2/3 innings. He gave up just three hits and no walks. The lone run he gave up was a Willy Adames solo homer. The Orioles won, 2-1.

Fantasy Impact:

Means had been making small gains his past few starts, but this represented a large leap. He will take a 5.02 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, and 33 strikeouts in 37 and 2/3 innings into his final start against the Blue Jays on the road. If you need help with strikeouts or WHIP, pick him up.
