Garrett Richards took the loss in Game 1 of the NLDS on Tuesday when he allowed two runs on one hit with two walks and a strikeout over 2/3 of an inning in the Padres 5-1 loss to the Dodgers.

Fantasy Impact:

Richards came on in relief of Tim Hill in the bottom of the fifth inning with two outs and one aboard. Cody Bellinger reached on a throwing error, allowing the runner to score but Richards was able to get out of the inning. He then led off the sixth inning with a strike out, a walk, and a double before being replaced by Matt Strahm, who would allow both runners to score. Richards was one of nine Padres pitchers to appear in this game as starter Mike Clevinger exited after only throwing one inning.
