Fantasy Impact:
Kelenic might have started the year in the Majors as the Mariners looked for cover after Kevin Mather's comments, but his knee injury simply cost him too much time and gave Seattle justification to send him for more seasoning. He had performed well in limited action this spring, with two homers and a 1.256 OPS in 23 plate appearances. Chances are that he'll be back up in a few weeks after the Mariners gain an extra year of control, so there's no need to drop him if you drafted him in a redraft league.
