Chris Bassitt allows three earned runs in Opening Day loss

Oakland Athletics starter Chris Bassitt took the loss on Opening Day against the Astros, going 5.1 innings while allowing three runs (all earned) on four hits with three strikeouts and two walks.
Fantasy Impact:
It was an overall solid outing for Bassitt, cruising through five innings with just one run allowed. He departed in the sixth inning with two runners on and one out when Yusmeiro Petit served up a two-run double to Yordan Alvarez as both runs were charged to Bassitt. It is tough to win any game when your offense only scores one run.
