Wil Myers goes 2-4 with an RBI on Friday

Myers continued his hot start to the season on Friday in Arlington with a double and a single. Both of Myers' hits were hard hit ball events -- the single came off the bat at 99 MPH and the double came off the bat at 107 MPH. Myers is now slashing .346/.469/.692 on the young season. Myers is also striking out less and walking more to start the year. Myers almost assuredly can't maintain his current numbers for 162 games, but fantasy managers should be riding this hot streak while they can. The Padres have two more games against the Rangers before heading to Pittsburgh for four games. Myers will have good opportunities to continue mashing against sub-par pitching through the end of next week.
