According to Martin Gallegos of MLB.com, Luzardo bumped his hand on a desk pregame but warmed up and felt good enough to pitch in Saturday's game against the Orioles. Luzardo was roughed up by allowing six runs (three earned) across three innings. X-rays after his Saturday start showed a fracture in his left pinkie finger. Luzardo was placed on the 10-day injured list and Adam Kolarek was recalled in a corresponding move. It's unclear how long Luzardo will be out and if he’ll need surgery on his pinkie. Stay tuned.
