Austin Nola goes 1-2 with RBI in second start of season

Austin Nola went 1-2 with a double, a walk, and an RBI in the Padres' win over the Pirates on Monday.

Fantasy Impact:

It hasn't taken Nola long to make an impact with the Padres after returning from a finger injury. Nola doubled in the seventh inning, driving in the second run of the night for the Padres. Nola missed the entirety of April in with a finger injury, and he'll be looking to get off to a good start in May. Nola is coming off of a solid 2020 campaign, where he slashed .273/.353/.472 with 7 home runs. He's still available in a lot of leagues, so he's worth tracking over the next few weeks to see if he's healthy and ready to go. If he is, Nola could wind up being a valuable waiver wire pickup for rosters needing help behind the plate.
