Jake Odorizzi 'trending toward rehab start or two,' per GM

Astros general manager James Click said that right-handed pitcher Jake Odorizzi (arm) is "trending toward maybe needing a rehab start or two." (Chandler Rome on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is a new development after Odorizzi was expected to miss a couple of starts, then return. Instead, he'll miss time and then report to the minors for rehab work. "Everything structurally is great," added Click. "He feels great, it's just a question of building back up." Through three starts, the 31-year-old is 0-2 with a 10.13 ERA, 1.63 WHIP, and .294 OBA. He ranks 93rd among starters in the latest rest-of-season expert consensus rankings, so he should be worth a roster spot in fantasy leagues upon his return.
