Eric Sogard went 0-for-1 before getting lifted versus the Pirates Saturday. He did drive in a run with a sacrifice fly before leaving.
Fantasy Impact:
Sogard is a good real-life player who is valuable to the Cubs. Even if he performs offensively when he plays, the issue for fantasy owners is that he is battling for playing time at second alongside Bote and eventually Hoerner. In deep leagues, there is value in his versatility that could mean eligibility at different positions.
