Tyler Rogers earns a save on Thursday vs. the Pirates

by Jon Mathisen | Giants Correspondent | Fri, May 14th 11:59am EDT

RHP Tyler Rogers picked up the save on Thursday when he allowed just one hit over a scoreless ninth inning in the Giants' 3-1 win over the Pirates.

Fantasy Impact:

Jake McGee was unavailable on Thursday so Rogers got the opportunity to close this game out. He buttoned up his third save of the season by only allowing one base runner with a harmless single. He's now 3-for-5 on save chances this season to go along with 10 holds. He owns a 0.83 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 10:4 K/BB ratio over 21 2/3 innings. There's very little strikeout upside here but his rate stats definitely play in SVH leagues.
