Jackson Kowar (0-2) allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out one across one 1/3 innings in Saturday’s 11-2 loss to the Athletics. He was tagged with his second lost of the season.
Fantasy Impact:
Kowar was able to get out of the first inning this time but logged another poor performance during Saturday’s loss. He was lit up for four runs on five hits and three walks before being removed after 57 pitches. The Royals' top prospect owns a whopping 36.00 ERA in his first two career starts. Kowar is not currently scheduled for another start and remains to be seen if he cracks the rotation after back-to-back poor performances. Fantasy managers outside dynasty leagues can move on from Kowar.
