Max Scherzer (groin) placed on 10-day IL

The Nationals placed Max Scherzer on the 10-day IL with groin inflammation. The move is retroactive to Saturday. (Mark Zuckerman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is hardly a surprise after Scherzer's throwing session didn't go well on Monday. It's still not clear if he will need to miss more than the minimum amount of time, but because the move is retroactive, Scherzer will be eligible to return on Tuesday, June 22nd. Whether he's able to do so remains to be seen.
