Mike Minor (5-4) allowed four runs on seven hits while striking out five across five 2/3 innings during Tuesday’s 4-3 loss to the Tigers.
Fantasy Impact:
Minor yielded four runs and was tagged with his fourth loss of the season. Most of the damage off Minor came from a two-run shot by Tigers infielder Jonathan Schoop in the third inning. The 33-year-old threw 97 pitches, firing 68 for strikes. He’s now allowed at least four runs or mote in two of his last three starts. Minor will take a 4.63 ERA and look for better results against the Yankees early next week.
