Kwang Hyun Kim lasts just four innings in nightcap

by Lucas Spence | Sun, Jun 20th 11:03pm EDT

Kwang Hyun Kim fell to 1-5 on the season after pitching four innings (47 pitches) in a losing effort in the second game of a doubleheader against the Braves on Sunday evening. Kim permitted three hits, an earned run, and a walk while striking out only two batters.

Fantasy Impact:

Kim allowed a solo home run to Ronald Acuna Jr. in the third inning, the only run scored in the ballgame, and that was enough to saddle the left-hander with the loss before he was lifted from the game in favor of a pinch-hitter. Kim will take a 3.60 ERA into a date with the Pirates next weekend.
