Brett Martin made quick work of the five batters he faced over 1.2 innings on Wednesday. He tossed 15 pitches, including 11 strikes, and retired all five Oakland players. Meanwhile, Texas' bats came alive and scored enough runs to take the lead, ultimately giving Martin his second win of 2021.
Fantasy Impact:
Martin is now 2-2 with a 2.76 ERA, 1.40 WHIP, and .282 OBA. He's walked just four batters while striking out 24. The southpaw posted a season-best 0.84 ERA in May, then proceeded to post a season-best .244 OBA and 1.25 WHIP in June.
