Cleveland right-hander J.C. Mejia allowed six runs over four innings in a 7-2 loss to the Astros on Thursday. Mejia struck out three and walked two.

Mejia cruised through the first three innings before giving up a run in the fourth and a grand slam to Jose Altuve in the fifth. The rookie hurler has a 1-3 record, 6.18 ERA, 1.27 WHIP, and 25 strikeouts in 27 2/3 innings of work. He will face the Rays next.
