Merrill Kelly takes a no-decision in Sunday's loss to the Dodgers
by Jon Mathisen | Diamondbacks Correspondent | Mon, Jul 12th 1:04pm EDT
RHP Merrill Kelly didn't factor into the decision on Sunday when he allowed one run on four hits with three strikeouts and a walk across 5 1/3 innings in the Diamondbacks' 7-4 loss to the Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
Kelly did a fine job holding down a Dodgers offense that put up a whopping 22 runs the game before. He only allowed one run courtesy of a Mookie Betts solo homer in the bottom of the first. Kelly has put up a 3.26 ERA over his last seven starts and has been a viable streamer in the right matchups. He'll take a 5-7 record, 4.46 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, and 93:27 K/BB ratio over 109.0 innings (19 starts) into the All-Star break.
