David Price allows three earned runs in no-decision

by Jon Mathisen | Sat, Jul 24th 12:32pm EDT

LHP David Price took a no-decision on Friday when he surrendered three runs on four hits with four strikeouts and a walk over 5 2/3 innings as the Dodgers lost to the Rockies 9-6 in extra-innings.

Fantasy Impact:

Price cruised through the first five innings with relative ease, allowing just two hits, one of which was a solo home run to Elias Diaz. He ran into some trouble in the top of the sixth inning when he served up another home run to Trevor Story before walking Charlie Blackmon with two outs. He was replaced by Phil Bickford, who allowed Blackmon to score, finishing the book on the Price. The veteran southpaw has been decent since moving into a starting role for the Dodgers. Friday's 5 2/3 effort was the deepest he's gone in a ball game this season. He'll carry a 4-0 record, 3.35 ERA, 1.46 WHIP, and 39:11 K/BB ratio over 40 1/3 innings (26 appearances, six starts).
