Adam Frazier traded to the Padres

by Brad Camara | Royals Correspondent | Sun, Jul 25th 6:52pm EDT

The Pittsburgh Pirates have traded 2B/OF Adam Frazier and $1.4 million to the San Diego Padres in exchange for Tucupita Marcano, Jack Suwinski, and Michell Miliano. (Rob Biertempfel on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Frazier was one of the best available bats on the trade market and won't be a free agent until after the 2022 season. He leads the league in hits and will give the Padres both infield and outfield depth. Frazier is slashing .324/.388/.488 with four homers, 32 RBI, 58 runs scored, and five stolen bases across 428 plate appearances in 2021. The 29-year-old will see a reduced role in San Diego, but fantasy managers should continue to roster Frazier and monitor how the Padres utilize their new acquisition in the upcoming weeks.
