Kyle Freeland allows just one run in loss

Rockies starter Kyle Freeland allowed one run, eight hits, and one walk over six innings of work against the Padres on Thursday. He also struck out four batters in the process. Freeland was hit with the loss as Colorado ultimately fell to San Diego by a score of 3-0.

Fantasy Impact:

Freeland is now 1-6 with a 4.52 ERA, 1.48 WHIP, and .299 OBA over the course of 12 starts. Despite his shaky numbers and record, he has improved as of late. The southpaw has a 1.98 ERA and 1.07 WHIP with just eight walks and 34 strikeouts through his last seven trips to the mound.
