Astros third baseman Marwin Gonzalez went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Mariners on Wednesday afternoon. He also struck out once in the contest. Houston ultimately fell to Seattle by a score of 8-5.
Fantasy Impact:
Gonzalez entered as a pinch-hitter on Tuesday, but Wednesday marked his first start with Houston since the team won a ring in 2018. Through 77 games in Boston and two in Houston this year, the 32-year-old is slashing .202/.280/.296 with three homers, 22 RBI, 19 walks, and 72 strikeouts.
