Detroit Tigers right-hander Rony Garcia allowed two runs over four innings in a 4-2 win over the Twins on Wednesday.

Garcia struck out five and walked two in the start, his first of the 2022 season. The right-hander induced just seven swinging strikes but he kept the Twins hitters off-balance with 14 called strikes. Garcia has made nine appearances for the Tigers in 2022, posting a 3.00 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, and 22 strikeouts over 18 innings of work.
