Michael Lorenzen was handed the loss after allowing eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits and two walks while striking out three in three innings of Friday's 8-1 loss to the Astros.
The third inning was the killer for Lorenzen, as the Astros jumped on him for six runs in the inning to chase him from the game. The righthander has only thrown three innings in back-to-back games, spiking his ERA to 4.94 through 13 outings this season. The 30-year-old has proven to be an inconsistent and unreliable fantasy arm. He will look to bounce back against the Orioles on Thursday.
