Spenser Watkins (1-1) allowed one earned run on three hits over six innings Friday versus the Twins resulting in a no-decision in the 2-3 loss. The right-hander struck out five and yielded one walk in the 79-pitch outing.

Fantasy Impact:

Watkins finished with a 1.50/0.67/7.50 line as his ERA dropped to a 4.61 after Friday's outing. The five strikeouts were a season high in the quality start for the Phoenix native. Before Friday's game, Watkins was allowing a .289 batting average with a .305 expected batting average. The 29-year-old will likely be scheduled to start versus the Rangers in Baltimore on July 6.
