Beau Brieske allowed three runs on six hits over six innings of work in a 4-3 win over the Royals on Saturday. Brieske took a no-decision, striking out three and walking three in the start.
Fantasy Impact:
Brieske picked up seven swinging strikes in the quality start, his fourth of the season. The rookie has made 13 starts in 2022, posting a 1-6 record, 4.54 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 46 strikeouts over 69 1/3 innings of work. Brieske's 16.2% K rate limits his upside in fantasy but he's worth a look as a streamer in plus matchups. He is slated to face the White Sox on Thursday.
