Michael King (elbow) is not expected to require Tommy John surgery after an MRI revealed no apparent UCL structural damage. (Jon Heyman on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
This is the best case scenario for the right-hander, as now there is a possibility he will be available as early as 2023 spring training. King was in the middle of a breakout season with the Yankees, posting a 2.29 ERA and 1.00 WHIP with 66 strikeouts in 34 relief appearances this season.
