Whit Merrifield is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Orioles. Santiago Espinal is playing 2B and Raimel Tapia is in CF. (Toronto Blue Jays on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
There is no indication of an injury for Merrifield, and it's starting to look like he has a much lesser role on the Blue Jays compared to Kansas City. This will be the 3rd time in the last 6 games he is not in the starting lineup. Merrifield has hit .250 with a 45 wRC+ since joining the Blue Jays.
