James Paxton exits first rehab start early

James Paxton left his first rehab start since Tommy John surgery after just two batters Thursday. He was diagnosed with left lat tightness and is going to meet with doctors to diagnose the severity of the injury. (MLB.com)
Fantasy Impact:
Manager Alex Cora stated this could be an obstacle to Paxton returning to the team in September, which was the current return timeframe. Look for the Red Sox to provide an update soon of the full diagnosis of the lat injury. Fantasy managers should move on from Paxton if they were holding out hope for a return this season.
