Frankie Montas is expected to miss the first month of the 2023 season due to shoulder inflammation. He is 8-10 weeks behind in his off-season training. (New York Post)
Fantasy Impact:
Montas dealt with injuries throughout the 2022 season and will have his shoulder issues carry over into 2023. He ended 2022 with a 4.05 ERA and 8.85 K/9 over 144.1 innings. Domingo German would be the most likely candidate to join the Yankees' rotation while Motnas is out.
