Fantasy Impact:
The Rangers' No. 6 prospect will undergo the knife and miss the remainder of the 2023 season and a good chunk of the 2024 campaign as well. The 23-year-old Vanderbilt standout posted a 3.86 ERA and a big-time 31.5% K-BB% in six starts at High-A ball this season but will be out for at least the next 14 months due to a torn ligament in his throwing elbow.
