Brett Lawrie managed to produce at the plate with a 2-for-6 effort. He came up with one double and one home run, his sixteenth of the year. He finished the game with one RBI and two runs scored himself.

After his hot start to September, Lawrie has settled down and is now hitting .265 with a .294 OBP. He hits .297 against left handers with a .342 OBP and seven home runs, so he can still act as deep value play at a shallow position in daily games.
