Orioles expect to sign Dexter Fowler

The Orioles are discussing a contract of two or three years with an average annual value in the range of $12 or $13 million with free agent outfielder Dexter Fowler. The O's believe they will be able to sign Fowler as well as free agent right-hander Yovani Gallardo. (Buster Olney on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Fowler would slot into right field for the O's after spending much of his career in center. This would further boost Baltimore's defense, which would be improved over the offseason with the additions of Fowler and Hyun-soo Kim, who is expected to start the season in left field. Fowler would also likely fill the leadoff role for Baltimore, moving from atop one high-powered lineup to another.
