Fantasy Impact:

Yovani Gallardo has not been the near-ace that he once was with the Brewers, as he posted his lowest K/9 of his career in 2015 (5.91) with the Rangers. However, while the Ks were down, Gallardo did post his lowest ERA for a full MLB season (3.42), though his WHIP was the highest in his career (1.42). Gallardo moves to another hitter's park (Baltimore's Camden Yards), meaning his overall numbers are not likely to rebound, and if his Ks do not recover he will not be a worthwhile starter in much more than deep mixed or AL-Only formats. He may have #2 upside, but be cautious on draft day, as there is plenty of downside with the new Orioles pitcher.
