Stay away from Jacoby Ellsbury on Tuesday
by Chris Zolli | Tue, May 24th 6:55pm EDT
The Yankees will return to the Bronx to face knuckleballer R.A. Dickey and the Blue Jays on Tuesday and Jacoby Ellsbury is only 7-for-28 with two doubles and two walks against the veteran. Ellsbury also only has a .245 batting average at home, as opposed to .293 on the road.
Fantasy Impact:
There are reasons to buy a Yankees offense that is facing a knuckleballer with a 4.50 ERA and has doubled their run output over the past few weeks, but do not jump at picking Ellsbury in DFS games. He does have a .348 batting average over the past seven days and seven extra-base hits in May, so he is not the worst pick, but do not over-extend yourself to fit Ellsbury in a lineup. He only has a .615 OPS at Yankee Stadium and there are better options.
