Matt Garza allowed nine hits and six runs (five earned) over three and two-thirds innings on Sunday in Seattle. He walked one, and struck out three batters. He escaped without a loss after the Brewers came back in the top of the ninth inning to take the lead and eventually win the game.

Sunday's game ended Garza's five game streak of allowing three runs or less. He faced 22 batters and threw 93 pitches, 59 of them for strikes. Garza will look to get back on track in a NL Central match up against the Pirates on Friday in Milwaukee.
