Alex Avila was behind the plate and hit seventh on Thursday. He reached base twice, but the White Sox lost 3-5 to the Rays. Avila finished 0-for-2 with two walks, a run and two strikeouts.
Fantasy Impact:
Avila has little to no fantasy value. He cannot be counted on in yearly even when he starts. He's hitting .176 over his last seven games and his starts can be sporadic. His value in DFS comes only if you need a minimum salary type player.
