Edwin Encarnacion continues to work out in hopes of playing in 2021
Free agent slugger Edwin Encarnacion has continued to work out every day in hopes of signing with a MLB team, according to his agent, as reported by Jon Morosi of MLB Network.
No universal DH in 2021 put a damper on Encarnacion's prospects of signing with a team this offseason. He's now 38-years-old and is coming off a rough 2020 season. He registered a .157 batting average with a .627 OPS with the White Sox. No one has more home runs in baseball over the last 10 seasons than Encarnacion but it's doubtful that he'll find a team willing to bring him on with the regular season around the corner.
