Fitzgerald averaged 9.5 fantasy points per game with very poor quarterback play, he is nearing the end of his career, but could still be viable with QB Sam Bradford behind center. He averaged only 8.3 fantasy points per game, but he also lost his starting quarterback for the last 3 games of the regular season. The big concern is a shoulder injury that could cause him to miss time early in the season.

100+ catches , 1,000+ yards in each of his three seasons played at age 30+ - consummate pro has the kind of clear go-to role that makes it easy to fathom another 100-catch campaign
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
I'm done trying to predict when father time will catch up with Fitzgerald, as it seemed like he was on his way out in 2014, only he has since posted WR11, WR17, and WR9 seasons (in standard formats). The quarterback position arguably upgraded with Sam Bradford and Josh Rosen this offseason, though the offense is going to look different under head coach Steve Wilks. There's still not another player on this team who sniffs Fitzgerald's level of talent at wide receiver, so I'd fully expect another top-24 season out of him. The change in coaching staff is the lone concern for me, as Fitzgerald saw 11 or more targets in six games last year, something that this staff may find excessive, especially with David Johnson back. Did you realize that Jeffery had just a 47.5 percent catch rate in 2017? That ranked 168th of the 211 wide receivers who saw at least one target in 2018. To know that he finished as the WR15 despite that is pretty amazing. The chemistry between him and Carson Wentz should grow as time goes on, though his touchdown rate will likely go down with Wentz's. Still, Jeffery is the clear-cut No. 1 receiver in an offense with a creative play-caller and franchise quarterback. His injury-riddled past is factored in, as he'd be higher on my list if he hadn't missed 11 games in the past three years with a lot of soft tissue injuries. News has been leaked recently that has him potentially remaining on the PUP list to start the season. If that's the case, he'll become nothing more than a late-round bench stash. As of now, it appears that he's likely to at least miss a few games.

Fitzgerald will likely see close to 100 receptions again this season, so you can't fade him due to his oldness, but we still don't know who his quarterback will be. But we've seen Fitzgerald put up good numbers with bad quarterbacks, like last year, so I see no reason not to take the safe receptions.Jeffery is in a strong offense and will be able to start 2018 as a veteran of that offense rather than a rookie like last season. He scored seven touchdowns in his last seven games. UPDATE: Jeffery has yet to practice and there is a possibility he might not be ready for Week 1 and could even land on the PUP list, knocking him out of the first six games. The odds are against that, but keep an eye on his status. *
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
While he may be old, Fitzgerald has racked up 107+ receptions in three straight seasons out of the slot. He is a good bet to do it again with over 1,000 yards seeing that he had 51% of the targets returning to the Cardinals this year. Don't forget that they upgraded at QB too with Sam Bradford.Alshon could start on the PUP list to begin the season so make sure to pay close attention before your draft. He impressed last season, and especially in the playoffs, but let's not forget that he had fewer than 800 receiving yards and has proven to be injury prone in the past. There is upside for sure, but perhaps not quite at the price he is going for.

NFL Mock
Larry Fitzgerald's rank in receptions over the last 3 years: 2017 2nd 109 rec. 2016 1st 107 rec. 2015 5th 109 rec.Between weeks 8-15 last season (7 games) Alshon Jeffery totaled 30 catches on 62 targets for 427 yards and 7 touchdowns. As #Eagles gear up for the season, WR Alshon Jeffery has remained on PUP. Though he's progressing according to plan, sources say the timing of his rotator cuff surgery -- following the Super Bowl win - means there's a chance he may not be ready for the opener. Could stay on PUP. @RapSheet

To be incredibly cliché, you can only count on three things in life: death, taxes, and Larry Fitz balling and being an all-around great guy. Seriously though, the guy has posted nine 1,000+ yard seasons and five 10+ touchdown seasons in his 13 years in the league. Now, father time comes for us all, but as Tom Brady can tell you, just have an avocado diet and 40 is the new 30! In all seriousness though, Larry Fitz killed it last year, at 34, with a rotation of scarecrows and tin men under center for the Cardinals. Now, at 35, he has either Sam Bradford or Josh Rosen slinging the rock, and only young buck Christian Kirk to vulture targets with John Brown choosing to kill his career in Baltimore and Jaron Brown signing with Seattle as a Tyler Lockett stunt double (he'll come in on the plays Lockett would ordinarily get hurt on). I like his odds at another 1,000 yard+ 8-10 TD season, which equates to easy top 15 production. As a die-hard Eagles fan, I will sing to the heavens of the exploits of Alshon Jeffery last season. In a year of growth for both he, his quarterback, and his team as a whole, Jeffery only managed 57 receptions, 789 yards, though with a whopping nine touchdowns. These statistics however, belie the upside of a top 10 WR for two distinct reasons: 1) Jeffery was relied upon more toward the end of the season as his rapport with Carson Wentz, and later Nick Foles, strengthened, and most importantly 2) Jeffery played the whole season with a torn rotator cuff. Man that's tough. Look for a solid game-to-game floor with huge games mixed in for the #1 receiver in a dynamic Eagles offense.
Andrew Gould
FantasyPros
Continuing to age like a fine wine, Fitzgerald has accumulated 109, 107, and 109 receptions over the last three years. In search of his 10th 1,000-yard campaign, drafters will still remember the 2014 doldrums endured by Arizona's abysmal quarterbacking. Sam Bradford has notched a 68.6 completion % in his last 31 games, and rookie Josh Rosen should be far better than Drew Stanton if given the nod. Continue the annual tradition of drafting Fitzgerald a round or two later than he deserves to go.A fruitful change of scenery made Jeffery's year. Despite a woeful 48 catch % and 3.6 receptions per game, his nine TDs (eight inside the red zone) cemented a WR15 finish. He remains the top wideout on a potent Philadelphia offense, but his year-by-year TD tallies (3-7-10-4-2-9) are living proof of the key stat's volatility.

Should threaten WR1 numbers every week Bradford remains healthySeems like a shoe-in for a top 25 performance after him and Wentz showed improved chemistry as the season progressed
