Lamb came out on fire last year and immediately returned value for fantasy managers that added him in the mid-to-late rounds. While the price tag is certainly going to be a bit higher this time around, he still has the chance of returning value. Lamb is going to reportedly move outside and play more snaps away from the slot, which could allow him to use his speed and excellent ball-tracking ability downfield. Ultimately, Lamb is on the verge of becoming a fantasy football superstar this year and he absolutely could end the year as a top-5 wideout. If you start your draft with two RBs in the first two rounds and snag Lamb as your top WR, you should be ecstatic.Looking at what Arthur Smith did in Tennessee with Derrick Henry, it would be safe to assume that he wants to build the same type of offense here in Atlanta, right? If that is the case, then Davis is going to step right into the Henry role, yes? Unfortunately, there is only one Henry and Davis certainly isn't him. There's an incredible opportunity for Davis to be a solid RB2 for fantasy purposes this season, but the question revolves around how long he can withstand an increased workload? As the season progressed last year, we saw Davis wear down as he took on the lead role in CMC's absence and there's a strong possibility that that happens again in 2021. Davis might come out of the gates on fire in 2021, but could wear down as the season moves along. If you do draft Davis at his current ADP, snagging a RB like Michael Carter is a smart strategy. We could see the aforementioned rookie RB's usage ramp up as the season goes along while Davis' tails off.

On a 96-catch pace before Dak was hurt - a star in the making - want to feel good about yourself? Take him in your draft and swell with pride as the room compliments your pickWon the job security lottery with ATL, though it's been disconcerting to hear many of those covering the team don't think he'll exceed 10-12 carries per game

CeeDee Lamb was just starting to come on when Dak got hurt. Lamb is the real deal. He's a big play machine. He's better than Amari Cooper imo. With a full offseason to get more comfortable with the playbook, Cee Dee should makes a huge jump. I'm going to call him TD Lamb because he should score a bunch of them. The best part is, Lamb can be still be had for relatively cheap in the 4th round.UPDATE- The Falcons o-line looks awful- at least with run blocking. The loss of C Alex Mack could be part of the reason. I'm moving Davis down a few spots. Eh, I'm not really comfortable with this ranking. This could go off the rails quick. Here's what I'm thinking, if the Falcons keep things the way they are Davis could do well. They'll be trailing, so the game script isn't good, but Kyle Pitts will draw plenty of pass interference penalties. That should set Atlanta up on the one yard line for some one yard TD runs. If they use Davis as a three down RB- he'll outperform his draft day price tag (6th round).......but that's a big if. Also, keep in mind Davis has been a lifetime backup. I could see them signing a RB who gets cut from another team just to spite me.

8/13 - No one has dominated camp like CeeDee Lamb. The only concern now is Dak -- what's going on with this shoulder? CeeDee was the WR12 before Dak went down last year. Now he's had the full offseason to learn and be schemed even more heavily into offense after being almost exclusively a slot guy. LOVE Sophomore CeeDee -- Dak's sketchy shoulder situation the only concern right nowSomehow remained ATLs top RB following the draft, and no veteran competition has been added. Davis could see 280+ touches in a highly-efficient Arthur Smith run-game. An ideal RB candidate to break through the "RB Dead Zone."

Lamb burst onto the scene as a rookie, going 74/935/5 and making some acrobatic catches along the way. Though he had a superb inaugural campaign, it could have been so much better. Lamb opened the year with 309 yards and two scores through the first four games. In that span, he averaged 77.25 yards per game. Over the final 12 games of the season, he went for just 626 yards and three scores. In that span, his receiving averaged dropped to 52.2 yards per game. If we take those numbers a step further, his hot start came with Dak Prescott under center, and after Dak went down in Game 5, Lamb's production fell off a cliff. Dak played only part of Week 5, but in games where he didn't play at all (Weeks 6-17), Lamb went for just 502 yards, 45.6 per contest. Lamb was on pace for over 1,200 receiving yards before Dak's injury, and if the franchise quarterback can stay healthy in 2021, Lamb looks like an easy bet to blow away his rookie numbers.Mike D shocked the fantasy world last season, finishing as the RB15 thanks to heavy usage in the passing game. After Christian McCaffrey went down with multiple injuries, Mike D rolled for his first 1,000-scrimmage-yard season, 8 total scores, and 59 receptions (4th most in the NFL). He's got no competition for backfield touches, and he should be relied on as a steady contributor in the passing game once again. I like him as a back-end RB2.

He finished as the WR24 last year, his rookie season, while dealing with some poor quarterback play. While five games is a small sample size, Lamb was the WR12 with Dak Prescott under center. Now in his second year with a full offseason, Lamb might just finish as a top-10 option, especially if the Cowboys keep deploying him from the slot.My guess is that analysts are worried about the Falcons adding a free agent running back because even my RB24 ranking feels a bit low for a back who should have no issue getting 15-plus touches per game. That would amount to 240-plus touches on the season. There have been 144 running backs who've hit that mark over the last 10 years and none have finished worse than RB28 (his current ECR). In fact, just 10 of those running backs (6.9 percent) have finished worse than RB20. If the Falcons don't add anyone of significance, I'll be moving him up even more.

Lamb played 91% of his snaps in the slot last season. As a result, he was on the field for only 65% of the Cowboys' offensive snaps, he needs to be on the field more if he's going to pay off ADP this season. @SmolaDSDavis scares me because most mid-career breakouts don't pan out in Year N+1. Davis is a special case because he changed teams, but the point remains that sustained success is rare. @JackMiller02 Davis is a case where projections can get you in trouble. 2020 Stat Line (with the Carolina Panthers): 12 games started, 165 Attempts, 642 Yards, 3.9 Average, 6 Touchdowns, 59 Receptions, 373 Yards Receiving, 2 Receiving Touchdowns. Tough to NOT project him for big volume right now. But he's probably not as safe a bet to actually get that volume as it appears right now. @SmolaDS

Early reports out of camp are claiming that Lamb will be move out of his predominant slot role and be used "all over the field." Having an actual off-season to practice and build rapport with Dak Prescott, and the (hopefully) short term absence of Amari Cooper makes Lamb appear to be headed for a bigger role and a breakout kind of season.

Lamb enters 2021 as a high-floor, high-ceiling fantasy option given his high usage as a slot receiver and Dallas' breathtaking amount of projected passing attempts. A strong college performer was immediately produced as a rookie, Lamb went for 74 catches and 935 receiving yards despite the disaster of a second half from the team's offense. The 22-year-old averaged 13.1 PPR points per game as a rookie, but that number spiked to 17.1 in games started by Dak Prescott. This is a situation where it's okay to reach in order to be a year early on an obvious breakout candidate.

There's no telling how good Lamb would have been in his rookie season had Dak Prescott stayed healthy the entire year. With Prescott under center for the first five games, Lamb was the WR12 in half-PPR formats. Without Prescott, he was 32nd, and rarely explosive (topping out at 85 yards receiving, and only twice surpassing 65). With Prescott back and looking fully healthy, Lamb has a chance to excel as the Cowboys' slot receiver, especially if he can cut down a bit on the drops (eight total last season, tied for third-most in the league). Whether you draft him or Amari Cooper first, he should be an excellent WR2 with upside.

Lamb had 180.7 fantasy points in 16 games, despite being a rookie in a pandemic year and not having Dak Prescott most of the year. He should be a WR2 with monster upside in his second year with Dak Prescott back under center.Davis is going to be the starter in Atlanta, but they had one of the worst rushing offenses in the NFL and their offensive line needs work. Davis is a flex option on a team that will be throwing the ball a lot this year.

Mike Davis aka "The Quad-Father" impressed in his role as CMC's back up turned starter in 2020. Davis now has a chance with the Falcons to be the undisputed leader of the backfield with very little competition. Exactly how lucrative that role will be in fantasy terms is undetermined. Arthur Smith certainly liked to run the football in Tennessee, but NO ONE is Derrick Henry. Still, Davis as a third RB is a good value in 2021 based on the offense and his situation.
