Amazingly, the Eagles really have no lead running back to start the season, so expect Sproles to continue to carry a decent load for his age and usual role.I still like Dixon, but he will miss the first four games due to a suspension and the Ravens added Danny Woodhead, which will cut into Dixon's receptions once he returns.

QB List
Even at 34 years old, Sproles is still a safe bet to produce high end flex value, and with a ADP around 180, he's basically free.
Kevin Wheeler
NFL Mock
This rank is provided that the Eagles don't sign a free-agent RB.He suffered an injury that could keep him out for the remainder of the season. Even if he is healthy enough to come back he will still have to serve a four game suspension.
Bobby Sylvester
FantasyPros
Sproles is never going to get enough touches to be relied upon for consistency, but you'd better believe he will have a few monster games, per usual, and if you happen to own him and start him in those few contests, he could be the difference between making and missing the playoffs.Dixon is out for the season and should not be drafted.

Out for season with a torn MCL.

Sproles will remain the Eagles' third down back but Fantasy value will be very inconsistent. Auction Value $3 Dixon will be out for te entire 2017 season.

Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
Over the last three seasons while in Philadelphia, Sproles has finished with 716, 705, and 865 total yards. Pretty consistent, right? I'd say the first two are the likeliest of scenarios, because the increase last year was out of necessity with Ryan Mathews shelved. The addition of LeGarrette Blount will also take away a few scoring opportunities, but Sproles also produces for those looking for a low-upside flex option.Similar to Doug Martin, Dixon will be suspended to start the season, though he has four games to serve. He looked really good towards the end of 2016, breaking 35 tackles on 118 touches, outplaying Terrance West seemingly every week. John Harbaugh went out of his way to say that Dixon is their guy and they proved it when they didn't draft a running back.
