61 players have put up 800 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards since 2000. Miles Sanders ranks 61st in total touches of the group. I don't think people understand how impressive his rookie year was. All in this season.
Bart Wheeler
Hail to Fantasy Football
Moved him into the first round too. Unless the Eagles sign a guy like Devonta Freeman, Sanders is set up for a massive workload with a good offense/O-line.
Mike Tagliere
FantasyPros
We all know Doug Pederson has loved his timeshares since coming to the Eagles, and after they moved on from Jordan Howard, many expected them to add a running back in the draft. Things can change, as there are a few free agent running backs out there, but for now, Sanders has the looks of a 15-plus touch running back. There are a lot of questions surrounding the Chargers offense as we head into 2020, and the quarterback position is atop the list. No matter who is under center, they're not going to be throwing the ball a lot. Tyrod Taylor has never attempted more than 436 attempts in a season, and Justin Herbert is a rookie who'll go through growing pains. We already saw Henry being somewhat scaled back in this offense last year, as he failed to top 45 yards in each of the last five games. For a guy who's never topped 652 yards in a season and getting a downgrade at quarterback, he has a high draft price, and is likely not going to live up to expectations.
Dan Harris
FantasyPros
Henry dealt with an injury yet again last season, but he was productive when he was able to play. Playing 12 games, he had the most targets, receptions, and yardage of his career. The departure of Philip Rivers, however, will likely do no favors for Henry, as the veteran quarterback historically targeted his tight ends heavily. Although Tyrod Taylor targeted Charles Clay often in Buffalo, he's almost certainly going to throw the ball less than Rivers did, meaning Henry is likely to see a dip in targets. He should still be valued as a TE1, but his stock has dimmed a bit with the change in quarterback.
Brandon Funston
The Athletic
Was Top 12 fantasy RB from Weeks 11-17 with workload volume (18.6 touches per) that should carry over as lead RB in 2020
Elliot Berkovits
Pack to the Future
Sanders is everybody's favorite breakout candidate in 2020 and I can understand the appeal but I still believe his current ADP is a little too high. He plays in an offense that is known for their usage of multiple backs and he's only started 11 career games, I need to see more out of Sanders before looking at him as an RB1.
Derek Lofland
FantasyPros
Sanders emerged as the lead back in Philly with 1,327 yards from scrimmage and 6 touchdowns. Philly usually uses a RBBC, which caps his RB1 upside. If they give him lead back duties and he sees 250-275 touches, he could emerge as a RB1 in 2020.Henry had 652 yards from scrimmage and 5 touchdowns, but he could have issues having success in the passing game if QB Tyrod Taylor remains the starting quarterback.
Ben Wasley
The Fantasy First Down
The Miles Sanders hype is growing as he continues to slide up drafts, often going in the first round. This does remind me a lot of Dalvin Cook last year and that's not the worst comp. The key difference is that the Vikings are one-man show with Cook only limited by his fitness while the Eagles steadfastly refuse to go with a true workhorse. If that changes, Sanders could be a league winner, but it's also possible the Eagles return to their pass-first roots and Sanders becomes an RB2. I'm all for the risk, but not at a first round price. There's a heap of high-upside RBs in this area but Sanders is my favourite for a second round gamble. Pair him with a safe option like Henry, Mixon, Chubb or Jacobs and you're golden.Fifth year tight end Hunter Henry finished last season as the TE9 (TE10 in PPG) and that feels a little disappointing until you realise that's the first time he's ever finished in the top 13! Henry has never passed 700 yards in a season, has never passed 100 yards in a game and has never passed 10 targets in a game. Tyler Higbee did those last two things in four consecutive games! There is reason to hope though, as Tyrod Taylor is a guy who made Charles Clay a fantasy relevant TE by peppering him with more targets than Robert Woods or Sammy Watkins. I wouldn't touch Henry anywhere near his 6th round price tag but he is interesting if he starts to fall in drafts.
Jason Petropoulos
BRoto Fantasy
Eagles RBs, although consistently utilized as a RBBC group in the past, have put up the fourth most fantasy points for RBs over the past five seasons. There are fantasy points there for the taking in this offense and a RB who put up 1300 yards in his rookie season is poised to take control of that backfield. Boston Scott and Co.'s potential role in the offense is not even worth mentioning.
Kyle Yates
FantasyPros
Sanders seems locked in to be the "main guy" in this backfield at this point of the offseason. While I still believe these other RBs will take away some work, Sanders should see over 270 touches in 2020. He's a high-end RB2 with top-10 upside right now.Henry's been great for fantasy when he's been on the field previously, but his health isn't something that you can comfortably rely on. Additionally, this offense isn't going to be as pass-happy as they've been in previous seasons, which limits Henry's overall ceiling. He should still be a fine option for fantasy football, especially at a position that has so many question marks, but I don't believe that he offers you league-winning upside this season.
Kevin Wheeler
Draftwize
Sanders was the RB6 in ppr ppg weeks 9-16 (17.5)With Tyrod at QB, Charles Clay saw 5.8 T/G from 2015-2017 ... Henry saw 6.3 T/G last year.
Seth Miller
Crossroads Fantasy Football
Being the clear receiving back provides a safe floor(63 targets in 2019). The lack of other pass catching options might've helped his target count but that's a problem for another day. He was able to prove he can be productive with his receptions. He played 52% of the snaps, and this was with Howard missing a bunch of time. Would like to see that playing time increase but on the plus side, was the largest share of playing time since LeSean McCoy in 2014. Would've like to see more decisive cuts behind PFFs best graded run blocking line. Not going to get better with Brooks gone.
