Richard Sherman subject of trade rumors

Seattle Seahawks general manager John Schneider told KIRO-AM Seattle on Wednesday that "the news is real" regarding the possibility of trading cornerback Richard Sherman. "I think we're a very unique organization in that regard. We have a great relationship with a lot of our players," Schneider said. "There's very much an openness. What you've seen lately in the news is real. That's on both sides. It's just open communication." (NFL.com)
Fantasy Impact:
It appears that Sherman is very much on the trading block as Schneider confirmed Wednesday. The 29-year-old cornerback has been one of, if not the best player at his position over the course of the last four seasons and would likely garner a first round draft pick in return for his services. Expect the Patriots, Cowboys and Falcons to be in the mix to attempt to acquire Sherman leading up to the NFL Draft that begins on April 27.
