Anquan Boldin 'wants' to play next season

by Anthony Cervino | Thu, Apr 6th 6:07pm EDT

Free agent wide receiver Anquan Boldin told CBS Sports' Jamey Eisenberg that he "plans" to play in 2017. “I’m still healthy, still going strong,” Boldin said at his charity golf event this past week. “I still have the passion.” (CBS Sports)

Fantasy Impact:

It was also noted that two of Boldin's former teams, the Lions, and Ravens, have contacted him this offseason showing an interest in reacquiring him. Boldin, who will turn 37 in October, will be entering his 15th NFL season in 2017 and is coming off of a solid statistical campaign in 2016. He produced a 67-584-8 stat line while playing in all 16 games. Although Boldin's glory days are behind him, he should still be considered a fine bye-week replacement or DFS value play for fantasy football purposes.
