Terrance West signs RFA tender

Fantasy Impact:
On the same day that LeGarrette Blount has been linked to the Ravens, West signed his one-year RFA tender. The third-year veteran is expected to open the 2017 season as Baltimore's starting running back on early downs due to Kenneth Dixon's four-game suspension, while Danny Woodhead assumes the role of the team's primary receiver out of the backfield as well as their third down back. However, when Dixon returns, similar to last season, West's role, plus, his fantasy value will likely begin to diminish as the former is viewed the Ravens' long-term solution at running back. West should be targeted at the back-end of fantasy drafts for 2017.
