Josh Gordon traded to the New England Patriots

Josh Gordon has been traded to the New England Patriots. The Patriots will send the Browns a 2019 fifth-round pick and get back a 2019 seventh-round pick if he is not active for 10 games. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
As rumored earlier today, the Patriots quickly became a frontrunner to acquire Gordon. The team was lacking a vertical threat with the departure of Brandin Cooks this offseason and Gordon will fill that role immediately. While it seems like a best case scenario, it still typically takes a little time for receivers to get acclimated to a new playbook and surroundings. Gordon clearly is talented and Brady would easily be the best quarterback he's ever played with. Expect offensive coordinate Josh McDaniels to make the most out of Gordon, but it may take some time. Both Gordon and Brady should see an uptick in fantasy production.
