Carl Nassib stands out in Week 11 loss to new York Giants

by Gary VanDyke | Mon, Nov 19th 9:27am EST

In another spot start for Vinny Curry (ankle), Tampa Bay defensive end Carl Nassib recorded six combined tackles and added to his season sack total with a half Sunday. Bringing his total production to fifteen combined tackles, five for a loss, and four and a half sacks since Week 7.

Fantasy Impact:

It is low DL1 type production, to say the least. Nassib has put himself in the conversation for dynasty value as well as rest of the season at this point. He has firmly become the second most productive defensive lineman behind only Jason Pierre-Paul in IDP terms on the whole season. But in that span since Week 7 he has outproduced Pierre-Paul by four combined tackles, one for a loss while matching sacks totals. Exiting Cleveland this past September by being waived and joining Tampa Bay has reviewed the former high third rounders career. Which should not be a shock.
