The Denver Broncos fear that wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, who had to be helped to the locker room by trainers during Wednesday's practice, tore his Achilles, according to ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter. Tests will be performed to confirm, but a torn Achilles is the initial fear. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

A torn Achilles would end Sanders's season and bring rookie wideout Courtland Sutton into a more prominent role in the offense. With Demaryius Thomas traded at the trade deadline earlier this season, losing Sanders would leave the Broncos with Sutton, DaeSean Hamilton, and Tim Patrick at wide receiver. Sanders has 71 receptions for 868 yards and four touchdowns this season
