Josh Doctson is expected to be released by the Redskins. They are working hard to try to trade him, but if a deal can't be completed, Doctson will be cut. (Ian Rapoport on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Doctson has caught one pass for 16 yards through three preseason games. The former first round pick has been a disappointment, posting 81/1,100/8 receiving line over three seasons in the NFL. The Redskins are ready to move on via trade or release, Doctson will be playing somewhere else in 2019. Paul Richardson is locked in as a starter outside, with Trey Quinn and Terry McLaurin following him on the depth chart.
